[It's the last text she sends because she's stepping off the plane shortly after. Shelby didn't even bother to change so he's seeing her in full vacation wear: a light sundress and nothing else, not even her hair up this time.]

[It actually is a warm day, warm enough that Deckard's Jaguar has the top down when he comes to pick her up. He makes no attempt to hide the appraising look he gives her in that dress, but he does hold the door open for her.[

Now this is what I'd call a quality delivery service.

[She chuckles as she steps into the car and relaxes. It's a long plane flight from Hawaii and she's ready to unwind.]

Where are we going?

Private beach house I know. Figured if I was gonna pull you out of paradise, I better make it worth your while.

[The massive championship ring sitting on her hand right now.]

[Deckard shrugged as he drove.]

You know me. Up to no good.

[They were at the house a few minutes later, and Deckard led her inside.]

Mm. Just a beer if you've got one.

Nice place. It's bigger than mine I think.

[Deckard left and returned a minute later with two bottles, both open and still frosted from the fridge. He handed one over.]

Actually belongs to a...business associate of mine who's out of town. Feel free to look around, get comfortable.

[She'll just relax on the couch and take a drink.]

You're making me miss Europe, you know.

[Deckard nods.]

It's the accent, isn't it?

It's everything. The environment is different here, the racing is different here.

[To explain as she just sprawls herself on the couch not thinking he might need some space there.]

I lived here for a few years after college. Did factory driving for Aston Martin. It was very valuable experience because European racing is a lot different from American racing.

I didn't get a hot tub, though!

Everything about driving's different there.

[Of course, he's thinking of car chases and evading police rather than racing, but he keeps that part to himself. Deckard raises an eyebrow.]

Driven a few Astons in my life.

[He waves a hand towards the sliding glass doors that lead out onto a patio.]

It's right out there whenever you want it.

Aston's a great team to work for. They sent me a DB9 when I won my championship. I hope they don't feel the need to do that again.

[She wouldn't know what to do with it. Shelby already has four cars and in her head that's like three too many.

She glances up at him and beckons him over, he's way too far away for her taste.]

Only way I'm getting in there is if you're coming with me, handsome.

[Deckard gave her a speculative look.]

Very generous. I don't have an Aston.

[He chuckles and nods.]

That was my plan. You want to get changed while I pour more drinks?

You weren't there for a championship and two 24 Hours of Le Mans.

[Kidding entirely. It's obvious she's in a very playful mood now that her job is done.

More obvious when her answer to his second question is simply to sit up and pull that dress off, revealing that she was wearing that bikini underneath the whole time.

She'll just throw it at him now.]

I'll be outside when you're ready.

[Deckard shrugs. Once he gets back to London, he'll probably just knick one. Maybe two or three, if he feels like selling them off for petrol money.

When Shelby stands and does her big reveal, he laughs despite himself, throwing the dress over his shoulder.]

Now that's what I'm talking about. I'll be there in a minute.

[It's more like two or three, but he does meet her at the hot tub with drinks and wearing a very tight, trim pair of trunks. He sets the drinks down and turns the knob that controls the hot tub.]
